He's the peanut butter to her jelly-- and they sure are sweet together. As Liv & Grey are getting older, their sibling bond is getting even stronger than I could have imagined. I'm pretty blessed to say that they hardly fight and I can only hope that it remains that way. The sweetest part for me is to see that even though she was born a twin and lost her sister Abigail, God brought her Greyson. I still can't believe Greyson will be 3 years old on November 7th and Olivia will be 5 years old on November 13th. This mama sure wishes time would slow down. Im just not ready for my babies to grow up!Â
So how cute are these costumes? I was scrolling through Pinterest looking for cute toddler costume ideas when I stumbled upon the peanut butter & jelly ones, and instantly fell in love. Liv and Grey go together like PB + J so of course I had to make it.Â
I used our Modern Harem Romper pattern and used a tan and red jersey knit as the base style because they are so comfy! I then printed out the letters & clipart on copy paper from my computer & cut them out. I then traced them on to the felt and then cut them. An easier mom hack would to just purchase felt letters from amazon but I was pressed for time. lol I also made a base for the letters so I could assemble them easier and then put that onto the romper. Next step was assembly, and it was easy peasy. Can we say glue gun? Yep, I just glued the letters on and finished it by top stitching the base template down to the rompers!
