Hey Mama,

It's important to know your value. Not in the sense of what others think of you, but in terms of understanding your own self worth and what aligns with your heart and soul. Many people go through life trying to please others, especially as mothers, and in the process they lose sight of who they are and what they want. Even more so now that we are in the digital age and social media has played a vital role in influencing who we "should be" according to what is deemed successful on a collective, societal level.

It's not easy to determine your value, but it is worth the effort. Why? Because when you know your value, you can start living a life that is true to YOU. Not one that is based on other people's standards or opinions, but one that comes from a place of authenticity and self-awareness.

As i've been on my healing journey, I didn't realize how much this paradigm bled through the many aspects of my life. From motherhood, friendships and how I showed up for others and or lack of healthy boundaries in my intimate relationships, to entrepreneurship and how I ran my company. It was all based on this need to please others, and in turn I wasn't honoring myself. It wasn't until I started going within and reflecting that I really began to understand my value and what it meant to live a life in divine alignment.

Truth be told, I held back a huge part of who I was spiritually because I was more concerned of how I and the business would be perceived by others. I was more worried about what others would think and say if they knew the "real me". It wasn't until I took a stand for myself, started my healing journey, faced my fears and decided to live life unapologetically that I truly began to understand what it means to not only be anchored in my sovereignty but more importantly , what it means to walk in my power authentically. Thats when the real magic happened. Thats when I started to flourish. I started to create from a space that nourished me. I started to trust myself. I started to honor myself . From there, everything else began to fall into place beautifully.

One of the most important things I've learned on this journey called life thus far is that your value is not determined by how others view you but by how you view yourself. If you don't believe in yourself, no one else will. You have to be willing to see yourself through the lens of your organic soul essence. Not the version of yourself that you present to the world based on what you think others want to see. It took me a long time to get to this point in my life and I'm still working on it every day but it's so worth it.

The process of unbecoming who you thought you were supposed to be is not an easy task by any means. It's a continuous process. It requires a great deal of courage, accountability and self love to see the shadow aspects of yourself that you've been avoiding. But I promise you, it's so worth it to get to know yourself on a deeper level. Once you do, you'll be able to live a life that is truly authentic to who you are mama.

What do you feel are some things that you can do to start getting to know yourself on a deeper level? I'd love to hear from you in the comments below!

We are going to start really diving in as I am ready to share my healing journey with all of you...
